Permit me to indulge in one of those irritating, childish Wovers v Bohs threads, but I've just been reminded of something. Let's hope we can keep this clean and civilised. I won't use the words filth, pox, scum or any such terms if Rovers Till I Die and crew don't.
RTID has a link in his sig that claims that his club wins a Google fight. His fight is between Shamrock Rovers and 'Bohemians FC'. This game is patently unfair, as it sets more particular requirements for us. What's more, it's not his ball, so he doesn't make up the rules.
Let's play by my (fairer) rules:
Google Fight 1: Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians. (http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&word1=shamrock+rovers+&word2=bohemians)
No contest. Of course, this actually is not fair, since, quite naturally, there are far more (sane) people walking around the planet describing themselves as Bohemians than there are calling themselves Shamrock Rovers.
Fight 2: Shamrock Rovers FC v Bohemian FC: (http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&word1=bohemian+fc&word2=shamrock+rovers+fc)
This is fair. Proper club title v. proper club title. We win, and the natural order is restored. Better yet, it can be observed that Google Fight renders its results in black and red. How cool is that?
Just wanted to get that off my chest. I feel much better now. Mods, feel free to relegate to Rubbish.

St James Gate do pretty well. St Francis do even better. Drumcondra don't though, and Thurles Town just aren't at the races.

Dublin City are the champs though!

Cork City FC beats Derry City FC and pretty much everyone else...

Also, Republic of Ireland beats Northern Ireland. :D

surely all names of two words should be in ""??? Like With Shamrock Rovers you get all the results of shamrock and rovers thron in. :)
