Killkenny game changed to Saturday 16th

The upcoming Eircom League First Division game against Kilkenny City in Terryland Park has been changed to Saturday 16th September (KO 7.45pm).

Please clarify KO time for this fixture as the website advertises it for 7pm

ya i got a fax from the club saying 7.00pm which is very early saturday nights used to be always 7.30pm .

and why has it been changed?

There is the GUFC Golf Classic on the Friday and maybe as we are playing away in Cobh midweek and Kildare away the previous Saturday an extra 24 hours would suit us.

The Saturday probably suits Kilkenny as regards traveling.

Changing of fixtures is not ideal but I think this one is fair enough.

AFAIK Tony asked for the game to be changed to allow the players a day extra to recover after the Cobh match.

yeah i heard that in terryland alright. would be tough travelling up and down to cobh on tuesday and then a game on thursday night.
extra day is only gonna help us
