Bit of a legend really in the sport and seemed like a nice guy to boot.

I always admired Agassi for having the talent to be the best despite not being a particularly big hitter during an era when big hitting became all the more prevelant. 8 Grand Slams won during a wonderful career.

Sad to see his career end. I was hoping that he would get a great send off match against Roddick but his back needed more time to heel after his 5 set match where he knocked out, Lleyton Hewitt's wimbledon conqueror, 8th seed Baghdahtis in which he played fantastic tennis as he did in the thrilling first round match with Pavel.Versus Becker his back was very stiff, and you could see the pain on his face at occasions during the game. Ironically in the 4th set he looked to loosen up a bit and play better tennis and the commentators were saying something about cramp creeping in on Becker but Agassi could'nt tie the game up at 2 sets all to force a 5th set.
But hey I suppose it's never easy to say goodbye and despite being knocked out everyone in the tennis world still rightly regard him as a champion:ball:
