Yo lads just an update, I've been in contact with the Clarepeople and it looks like they will be using the goalscorers chart in an upcoming issue - Maybe with the GAA season coming to a close, they might give a bit more focus on the Junior soccer scene like last season..
Any views or ideas on this?

Well they have been doing a minimum of 2 pages since the season started.Just make sure when they publish the league table that they check with you that its up to date.They used it already this year and they used an out of date one.
Great news on the Goalscorers chart.
Back to the same question as last year can we get a sponsor for a perpetual trophy for Top Scorer???

Big game this weekend, Newtown v Olympic lots of interest always in this fixture, i think newtown will be too strong but anything can happen in a cup game:ball:

Obviously Olympic will be up for it.Last time they met 2 weekends in a row about 3 years ago FAI and Munster,Newtown won easily with a poor team.Unless they are too cocky form should see them through.They played really well last week against an overated Lisselton who got a great start thanks to Skinny setting his wall up in the wrong place but he had little to do after that that (4th Minute).Noel Donnellan was outstanding again.At last has figured out how to head the ball clear!!He is also fitter than he has been for 10 years.5 games in a row now has been Newtowns best player.Sang well in the Lodge that night also!!!! Jason Stretton also very solid at the back,2 great mates playing together and know each others game really well,Jay not so good on the singing though!!!!

lost 2-1, disastrous result. Went 1-0 up against a strong wind, and were cruising. Couln't get a 2nd and they got an equaliser before half time against run of play. Couple of sitters missed, a 2nd goal disallowed 'apparently' offside. Then Mountshannon got a very good winner. Pushed and pushed, hit the post, but went home empty handed, season in tatters now!!
