Exaggerated by you, it seems. No-one mentioned mobs outside his house. What they did mention was regular incidents of a few scumbags outside his house. While the dictionary definition doesn't give any indication as to how many people are in a mob (never mind more than one mob), it would be more than have been indicated in these incidents, which doesn't mean it's not scumbaggery.
a few lads shouting "when are you going to win another game" at him is hardly scumbaggery.

The suggestion that the most trouble was a few Bohs fans cordially asking "When are you going to win another game" is hilarious. Particularly when Bohs fans accuse Rovers fans of blindness and "Nothing happened" when there's trouble at Rovers games.
This has been done to death before anyway, so I don't intend dragging another thread down. Can we get back on topic?
WAR, I admit I shouldn't have reacted to Scully but the fact of the matter is I got a torrent of foul language and abuse merely for asking him to take a seat instead of celebrating wildly in front of the Bohs fans. It's hard to take an earful of obscenties without reacting at the best of times. I was accused first of pushing Scully then of punching him, neither of which I did. I did put a flat hand on his back to guide him away from the more populated areas of Bohs fans and towards block A where other Rovers officials were sitting. I apologised to the stadium director and Bohs PRO and offered to withdraw my services from BEST.
Glad I told Farrelly to get out of my club though and have no regrets. He's relied on protection from within the club he's shafted and hopefully it got the message through that there was no longer backing for him at any level.

Dont know whether to laugh or cry at this thread. First we have boez fans saying that the dont accept failure and are a big club.:D
Lets examine this: BOEZ ARE NOT A BIG CLUB. The fact that you had to have a flag made up is beyond pathetic. Dont flatter yourselves. You've previously lost to heavyweights such as St Francis and Kildare County in the Cup. The pic in the sun today of some kids with a Farrelly Out bedsheet says it all.
Philo you are some prize tulip to admit that you abused the legend Farrelly. Are you a steward or a fan with a bib? As hoops1 says you're there to keep order not to point your finger in his face whinging.
Knowing the amateur hour goings on at "your" club you'll probably get promoted to head steward.

Yeah so we've been knocked out of the cup by a few minnows;
Francis, Kildare, yourselves. That happens to big clubs from time to time.
Enjoy your moment of glory. Your no more than the current version of SuperCally go balistic Celtic are atrocious.

Will Bohs delusions of grandeur ever be cured? I doubt it when seemingly sane adults seem to think that Bohs genuinely are a big club. You've been minnows for the vast, vast majority of your existence and a couple of years of success have gone to your heads. Reality bites and all that. Get used to it.

Philo, how can I wind-up the Rovers lads when they keep producing stuff like this! :D
I'll continue with the Bohs until the drogs give me something new to bait them with...

Harping on about a defeat that was probably before you were even born is pathetic.

Philo, reverse roles for a second and assume a Rovers steward did that in a similarly highly charged atmosphere....
I'm sure we'd have had some amount of posts from you informing us of the disgraceful showing from someone in such a position. Stewards are there to prevent trouble, not incite it.
BEST - that name's a tad ironic me thinks.

I think he's already apologised for his actions and appreciates that his actions were inappropriate.
It's a great flaw with the human that most are capable of experiencing emotion.

Like I said elsewhere, I regret the Scully incident and should have walked away after he started on me. Had I done so, I'm sure Scully would be facing a disciplinary hearing. We all make mistakes but not everyone's are caught on camera and thrown out to a bunch of mongs on the internet.
I don't regret saying what I said to Farrelly.

I doubt if any club here can beat Waterford United's record of changing managers.I think we've have about 20 in last 20 years. No manager has served more that 2 and a half years in last 15 years since I've been following them and quite a few (Rea,Kerley,Cheevers) have lasted less than a season! Some of the sackings have been bizarre and most of the fans were against the sackings of Matthews,Lynch,Power and McGeough but the chairmen knew better

He's living and working in Limerick. He was only manager for a few months but failed to make an imprerssion. He played in the Shamrock Rovers team that Galway United beat in the FAI Cup final.
In fact Pat Dolan, was on the bench for Rovers that day!
