Just wondering is there an exact number for the FAI's allocation in Stuttgart.
I was under the impression that it was 5,000 or so, but I was told by an
FAI official last night that they only got just over 3,000. :confused:

from what i can gather, they got 5,000 (as per uefa/fifa) rules. The figure they are quoting is after sponsors/player tickets i imagine

I thought that too but was told that was the
allocation before sponsors etc were looked after

Can anyone hazard a guess at how many irish will actually be in the ground?? Just how many tickets were actually got from Eventim??
Media are comin up with figures of around 10,000 travelling.

I think you will find there will be more like 20,000 inside, and probably another 5 or 10,000 outside!!

Away supporters are entitled to 10% of the capacity of the ground. As far as I know the stadium holds about 55,000 so therefore the FAI would have been entitled to 5,500 tickets. As for an estimate of how many Irish fans will be actually at the game I'd say 10 - 15 thousand.

id be guessing around 7 or 8000 in the ground to be honest ..

would’ve thought no more than 10,000 myself but the fai did get applications for 14,000 tickets from blockbookers etc alone so you never know it may just well be a sea of green like paris ‘04

Official allocation was 4,800.

I expect 15,000-20,000 Irish fans to be in the stadium.

Seated capacity is 48,000 so 4800 would be exactly right as per UEFA rules.BTW, German tabloids are reporting an expected influx of 35,000.

yeah they won't let you in. you may aswell give them to me:D :D :D

i'd say no hassel. been in so many home ends at away matches people probably think i travel to support who ever ireland are playing!!!

i think so many have tickets for german end that it is safer to let us all in
