Latest news on the game here http://www.fai.ie/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1019 . Anyone intending going to the game should get up to Terryland and buy their ticket early as there is only just over 1,000 tickets on sale to the general public.

Will it be seating only at this game, if this is the case there will be a poor atmosphere with just one side of the ground occupied.

Should this thread not be locked because it has nothing to do with Galway United?!? :p

about 400 standing tickets as far as i know which makes it over 2100 capacity. The reason this is on the Galway United thread is that we get a chance to show the fantastic surface that is Terryland and also from Skys coverage the last time it looked very well if it was only the stand that was full.

doubt it will be a sellout coz my numbered tics are in the twenties, which means theres a LOAD left,i know ppl will prob show up on the night but i thought there would be alot more sold already.
there taking a big chance leaving it till on the night as there are only 1300 tickets on sale and once they are gone they will be turning people away and remember its nothing to do with GUFC.

very dissapointed after the match tonight, Ireland had a 15 mins of good football at the start of the second half and that was it, the rest was backs to the wall and belgium attacking. The amount of times the Irish lads passed the ball back or 3yards to a player in a worse position would sicken you. Good crowd of maybe 2000-2200 in Terryland, place looked great. Groundskeeper deserves a round of applause, pitch was in imaculate condition and he promised me it would be of the same standard come sunday's game. Will post up some photos I took of the game/ground tomorrow. Pity about the result!

Posted a bit on the Ireland forum: Best for Ireland were 2 eircom league players Deery and Ward.
Keegan (drogheda) and Whelan (sheff wed) were so poor, yet finished game.
Our formation 4-1-3-1-1 handed the initiative to the Belgians and they gladly seized it. When we settled played some good football.
But with one man up front it was always going to be difficult to score. Why play 1 man up front at home? Rubbish Givens.
And still persisted with it after going 1 down, only changed in last 15 mins or so. Their keeper hadn't a whole lot to do in the game.
I left feeling that we had the players to win the game but we were let down by the tactics and systems.
But it was a pleasure to watch an outstanding display of wing play by their no7, De Mul. Watch out for his name in the future. O'Brien were you watching? That is how you beat a player, and put in a cross!
Very impressed with Deery, great engine, great touch and composure and excellent passer. Why was he taken off , and the waste of space Keegan left on?
