So, we're through:).
Teams left:
Rovers,
Athlone/Harps,
Bohs/Shams,
Derry/Shels,
Longford/Waterford,
UCD,
St. Pat's,
Killester United.
Obviously Killester United at home would be the best draw but I'd be happy enough just to avoid, Derry/Shels, St. Pat's and Bohs/Shams. We'd still be well capable of beating them but just to make it easier on ourselves I'd like to avoid them. Would love to play Harps at home just to get revenge on them for the league cup game.
When is the draw?

Athlone/Harps: I'd like(preferably home)
Bohs/Shams: I'd like (again home)
Derry/Shels: NO
Longford/Waterford: Dont mind
UCD:NO
St. Pat's: Home
Killester United: Only home, wouldnt like an away draw to them.

"I didn't think they were three goals better than us" and all the other stuff after the 3-0 win.
Pete likes a rant and takes the opportunity very well in the programme!

I thought he was going on about the comments Connor made after the match in The Showgrounds?

Shams at home would be the best draw for us. The worst draw for us would be small clubs like UCD or Killester. If we're going to win the cup lets do it in style

much of a muchness really Derry are still inYes but I think Derry are a more beatable side than Shels. Plus, if we do get an away draw against them(hopefully not), better than another trip to Dublin:).

Pity there's no European or Setanta place for finishing second to Derry.:o

Not being snappy but why us? IMHO, Waterford had their chance to beat us on Friday, where we put in our worst performance of the season.

I think Waterford have begun to turn their season around slighty and have been playing well lately. Apparently they've been unlucky in their past few matches. I'm a firm believer in that if you keep putting in good performances the luck will sort itself out sooner or later.

I know what you mean. Being honest, Waterford should have stuffed us on Friday and if they had a finisher at all they would have. I honestly believe if underdog teams, which Waterford are against us, don't finish off the first gaem when they have the chance, then they won't get another one. Hopefully they won't anyway and we'll progress!

If Derry qualify for Europe and the Setanta Cup through the league, would not the runners up in the cup qualify if they play Derry in the final?

Only if they win the league outright do Cup runners-up get into Europe.
Don't know the story about Setanta qualification. Probably whoever Ollie wants; same as last year.

We got into Europe in 2001 after losing the Cup Final to Bohs, coz they won the league aswell that year.
