Does anyone know if Gavin Mahon of Watford is Irish? If so, has he represented us at any level?

Yeh, read the link. Thought I heard him being referred to as an 'Irishman' on MOTD commentary tonight! I might have misheard though!

If you havent already read that thread, he is English born, but he is eligible (As far as I know) to play for Ireland

But is he better than what we already have?? I'd say no, plus he's no spring chicken either so I cant honestly believe he's an option for us at all...
