Lads any info on St james Gate?? we have them in the next round. Presume its not their first team as they are a senior league team. What team represents them in this competition and what league do they play in? Any info is appreciated. For what its worth I think the usual suspects will challange again this year but Killester must be standing out as favourites considering their great run and experience in the senior cup.

Enjoyed carew V Mungret.. Both team gave it their all in trying conditions. Carew had the smarter players, but regional missed 2 sitters in the 2nd half..one player in particular for mungret did not seem to want to know about it..No7. you need every player to contribute in these matches and in those conditions...

a game of two halves at the pike field dictated by the wind. Aishling 1-0 at half time and just about deserved it. pike dominated the second half and ran out deserved 3-1 winners. Theres a long trip to sligo next weekend.

i was also at the game it was a great game in very tough conditions for both sides. true regional missed a couple of chances second half but in fairness carew should of been 3 or 4 one up at half time they missed alot of chances and played regional off the field first half. i also agree you on carew were more clever on the day monty up front was causing the regional back 4 massive problems with his pace and took his goal very well. as for regional franky seemed more worried about getting creased than anything else carew wanted it more

Should have no problems with ballygawley though. Not a great side. Herbertstown will have problems with Abbey Utd, undoubtedly the best side in Sligo and current connacht cup champions

theres a very strong Limerick contingent out of town this year, pike, boro, carew would be 3 of the top 5 teams in the league over the last few years. The winners of fairview and wembley could go far if they got a favourable draw and herbertstown could be a real dark horse with some big scalps already this year.... this is where the real fun begins

Bennis will surely get in sunday.... These are big games now for Pike so i'd imagine that they'll bring him back into the side cause he has the experience with these games.. Will be intresting to see what the management team decide.Does anyone know anything about this crowd carew are playing?

Smackers is a fine goalkeeper , although he was at fault for the UL goal conditions didn't help. Bennis needs to chill and get fit , spoke to a renound goalkeeper at the game and he reckons Bennis lacks quality in big games!!

All the one we know it was him. And by the way smackers a good goalkeeper you need to get out more and watch him ! Alright he has played (probably) better this year then last, that's only becasue they have had only 1 keeper for the last few months now. (besides the polish guy who couldn't pley and Hickey only wants to play when he feels)

Castleview or Kinsale (Cork) v Peake Villa

Two Mile Borris v Killester United (Dublin AUL)

Culdaff FC (Inishown/Donegal) v Cahir Park

Gratton United or Tramore Athletic (Cork) v Clonmel Celtic

Waterford Hibs or Waterford Crystal (holders) v Clonmel Town

perdictions for sundays fai matches

BALLYGAWLEY CELTIC 0 vs 2 PIKE ROVERS handy one for pike IMO

DEEN CELTIC 1 VS 0 CAREW PARK kilkenny champions could be very tricky for carew and they are rated 12/1 with the bookies ahead of all limerick teams except boro so there no mugs

BORO 4 VS 0 RATHMULLAN CELTIC no probs for the boro in this one.

ABBEY UTD 2 VS 0 HERBSTOWN they have done very well to get this far but this crowd will have to much for them.

what do you think lads???

those odds seem strange alright. Ballymun are third favourites. After playing them last year I'd say they'd be no more than a mid table limerick team.

I fancy Wembley to win either after extra time or on Peno's
