Should be no need for taxis. Stuttgart has excellent public transport.

Was that you and your mate walking into hotel saturday morning with 1 six pack each to cure your heads?? :D

Must say Hotel was ideally located and easy access to Ground and Town centre with our free transport tickets,
Nice rooms if a little small and lovely Jubbly Mini Bar which was emptied as soon as we arrived then into town for
Litre beers and sing song At Schlossplatz!! Excellent adventure!!

I walked into the bar casso the first evening but only saw top shelf stuff so headed back out to a local bar on the main street near the post office!!! My cousin thought he saw an Irish flag on the window and lots of green folk inside so we went in......turns out it was an Italian flag the wrong way round and the locals main drinking haunt (to be fair we were bladdered from an all day session).

Nice hotel and very close to the stadium. I was a bit worried when I got the taxi out there though from the train station - it looked like a village at first!!!

Stumbled in to that bar on Sat night also, might craic, they must have played the entire pogues cd over and over about 20 times! obviously the onlt cd they had. Best craic of the weekend, left about same time as you, an hours kip, and taxi to the airport at 5am.
were you one of the lads dancing with the granny? No messing, she must have been about 97 years old!!
