Friendly Match Against Cork City

Sorry about the previous wrong info. due to a mix up in communications on my behalf.

There will be a Friendly between Galway United and Cork City this weekend, Friday the 25th of August at Terryland with the kick off time at 7.45pm.

Also, the new jersey will be on sale from the club shop before, during and after the match.:)

great game, Gethins gets his first goal for united... decent crowd (for a friendly). Raf is back, Juan played good... Cookie can strike with some place and I've lost all hope for Moran.
Jersey looks good, but i dont know about the sky blue shorts n socks!

for a friendly.foley,cooke and juan didnt look like guys who play a division lower then cork-they were excellent.near the end cooke turned fenn and ran away from him and a clearly frustrated fenn kicked out at him,ref didnt even book him though,i know was only a friendly but the players were treating it as a serious match so why didnt the ref?????i know cork probably took foot off the gas in last few mins but we could/should have drawn it.great finish by gethins.all in all a good test for the lads and good entertainment for the shivering crowd.
