We played well up untill they scored. I felt we could still go on and win the game as cobh were as bad as we were but were losing it in midfield as we have two very static mid fielders there.. Our subs though were baffling, losing one nil we go Rose for Carty (4 4 2 for 4 4 2) Sinnott for Waters (4 4 2 for 4 4 2) and McCartney for Cooney? (4 4 2 for 4 4 2) we showed no urgency in our play and seemed to think that losing 1 0 in front of 200 ppl was cool! We were playing a lot of long ball yet main target man Shane Guiran left on bench? With league home games against Finn Harps, Dundalk,Galway United, Kilkenny City, Shamrock Rovers and Athlone Town, and with our away form even worse, its hard to see how where we're going to pick up any wins. all thats left you just know the league cup and FAI cup but really our season is over time to shed some load.

Came off the bench fairly late on... Poor chap I'd say he longs for the tidy football of Sligo under-21's

Ah but do ye have any coaches of the calibre of Noel O'Connor :o

Between Noels Bullspit in one ear and Dolans Bullspit in the other ear, your going to get back one damaged, damaged boy

Absolute crap.. The butcher has to go now. Do us all a favour Noel..Resign ! I would like to see that happen now but I think it will cost too much to get rid of him:( , I think DD made a huge error in offering him more than a two year deal, face it lads we're stuck with him, and plummeting down the table big time. I can't see how things will change for the better in terms of the league anyway, the cups will be a welcome change from our pitiful league form, although players confidence must be at an all time low now so I'm not too optimistic about the near future.

Commiserations on the loss, but in the Cup next week against UCD you just never know, remember you did dump the holders out (deservedly) so can UCD hold as much fear for you?
What do you attribute to the loss in form as two months ago you were flying it? I know youwere pretty poor last night but if I'm honest I thought we were not much better.
BTW I know I was critical of the pitch in Askeaton last month but i thought that the pitch last night was quite good and a big improvement on my last visit to Hogan.
Either way you've got to give it a lash next week.

Most people place the blame squarely at the feet of the manager.

The future looks very bad right now for the club. There is absolutely no question that Noel 'no plan B' O'Connor has to go. While it may cost Drew money to pay off his contract he must consider what it will cost the club to keep him on. The performances of late have been terrible and because of this the crowds are getting smaller every week. By the end of the season we'll be lucky to get 20 fans at games. With this in mind Drew should consider where he will get money to run the club. I don't think he'll find it easy to entice sponsors to invest in a club that is clearly going nowhere. So now is the time for him to cut losses and give NOC the boot.

o'neill. new keeper did well. peno at right height but still made a good save.
molan. match unfit.
waters. out of position and was poor. at fault for goal.
buckley. probably our best player.
wolfe. didnt do too bad actually.
barratt. ran around shouting his head off. cant pass a ball.
lester. nowhere to be seen in the 2nd half.
heffernan. disappointing as he has for most of the season.
cooney. never started.
mccarthy. didnt get a chance. but has the feet to create chances for others.
kelliher. never looks up. never plays the easy ball. loses the ball to much. i'd star hi every week though. :)

very little football played. cobh deserved their win without breaking a sweat.

no hot dog stand. no club jersey. no danny drew. no noel o connor / leonard burke soft interview the following morning.

at least mick ahern had the balls to say "its all gone to pieces" on the sunday sports programme.

Maybe if the post hadnt been a blatant trolling attempt, you wouldnt have been warned.

If your comments on the pitch had been reasonable, instead of a stupid comparison with city in a country at war, maybe you wouldnt have received the warning.

You do nothing on the Limerick board but troll, even your signature (which has been edited) was an attempt at trolling. I am glad somebody pulled you up on it.
