Anyone else the see the 'new' RTE 1 sports quiz show?

I know RTE bashing is like a hobby to most of us but i really think i saw the worst 10mins of primetime tv ever!!!

To say the show was poor would be understatement of the year! I think RTE just discovered the a new format to creating tv shows - just transfer from the radio.

From what i saw of the show there was very little visual elements to it so may as well have been on the radio plus any clips they showed were all the irish rugby/golf/racing classics of the last 30 years so no idea what they'll have left for next week.

I actually watched the whole show last night & funniest thing i've seen in years. Its so bad its hard not to watch it.

Guest Joe Rooney was described as playing the 'Fr Dougal Maguire' in Father Ted. Mick Galway was asked on watching a rugby international game between with a red v green team to name the teams. Cascarino had to name the tournament Houghton scored his famous goal v england.

And to think tv3 gets slagged off. RTE get a subsidy to make drivel like this.

I saw the first (I think) episode.
Tracey is not too bad, but Cascarino is dire.
Maybe it's his accent that I dislike, but I think he is an embarrassment.
At least Joe Brolly tried some humour, but it went well over Cascarino's head.
I presume it has not improved as it goes along....;)
