The current official club website, www.galwayunitedfc.ie launched in 2002 by HP, has undergone a major revamp behind the scenes over the last few weeks.
The new website, sponsored by WalshWorks Media, will go live in the next few days and over the next three months will be expanded to be one of the best in the eircom League. Additional features will be added to the new site which includes new multimedia content, an online shopping facility and a member's area. www.galwayunitedfc.ie

I hope this is true because the website does indeed need a revamp. I wonder will they include a forum section. Follow shels lead and get someone like gareth as a webmaster. The guy is a genius. Galway Utd are going places and need a state of the art website.

Harrmack are our sponsors and its been manufactured by umbro (i think). The only thing I know is that the crest is now in the middle of the jersey.

getting back to the website: any chance whoevers doing the site, could you have a matchzone - similar to ShelsWeb's one[http://www.shelbournefc.ie/matchzone/matchzone.php?matchid=1594], quality stuff that is. t'wud keep the exiled utd fans up-to-date on live matches, save them from watchin aertel for 90mins - i'd help out if needs be.

im sure terryland must have a broadband connection making it easy to do aswel. simple but effective

yeah it'd be a really good feature alright. theres an awful lot of hype around this new website i just hope it can live up to it. if it has half of the stuff everyones talking about it could be really good. badly needed to be revamped anyway

Looks great, plenty of content for everybody and well laid out. The layout
is something different from the regular football club sites.

Looking forward to the online shop.

the feature that lets you download pictures of the players as wallpaper is really cool. it'd be cool if we could get them to put some pictures of the fans up there so we can use them as wallpaper
