In light of the shambles that was the Irish midfield last night I think it could be well worth keeping an eye on him this season. Saw him play regularly for the U21's and was always impressed with his passing and general play.

Clutching at straws maybe, but desperate times etc etc....:o

Seen him play a good few times and think he is pretty poor tbh. Didnt hack it at Southampton last year and cant see him being good enough for the squad for a long time

I've seen him a number of times and he's not good enough. J O'Brien, Ireland, Garvan, Timlin and Chris Mc Cann are all far better options for the future in his position.

Totally agree, all are great prospects. Timlin to be the real surprise package.

I agree with you there, Timlin is very much on Chris Coleman's mind this season. He's a very mature player for such a young player...if you know what I mean!! He will get his chance, I feel he is capable of taking it, you're right to point him out as a surprise package IMO, best of luck to him.
