Shamrock Rovers have been docked 3 points for playing ex Dublin City player Paul Shiels while he was suspended.

I don't think the points should have been deducted anyway. Though if any player in the league deserves this kinda meaningless hassle it's Mr.Shiels. :)

Apparently it's some nonsense to do with Dublin City suspensions??

I had always assumed giving Paul "Bleedin Jaysus" Sheils employment was automatically punishable by three points deduction :confused: :ball:
