Just seen that Wet Ham and Watford are interested in buying a 17 yr old defender from Brighton called Joel Lynch. He's 6ft1 and has started 3 first-team games for Brighton.

Football.co.uk says he was born in london but with a name like that he has to have some Irish connections. Anyone know anything about him?

With a name like that he could also be Jewish.

I'm a Brighton fan myself, and i'm afraid i dont think he has any real Irish connections. Shame coz he's looking very promising at the moment.
