I think the recent upturn in eL fortunes with results in europe alongside a few relatively high profile transfers to the Uk (Doyle & Murphy) is now going to start a renewed interest in UK & sacndanavian teams interested in signing eL players.
Swedish & Danish teams have shown willing to spend decent money on the best eL players but remains to be seen if UK clubs change their bargain basement options on the eL.
Obviously the league needs to keep its best players but it also needs revenue so i think will be a good move. Selling 1 player for 500k + clauses would not hamper the top eL sides too much.
