Lads heard a classic last evening.. a member of ldmc saw that the boro's pitches were freshly lined on monday afternoon. another member(gofor) of ldmc approached a senior member of the boro and said that he hoped the boro were not playing matches without the permission of ldmc...at least the boro have their facilities up to speed for the comming season unlike the sand dune in jackman and its 10 matches per season and all of OUR money being poured into it. it did not enter their small little minds that teams actuallly use their pitches for training this time of the year. lets rename the ldmc ,, lets call it the gestapo. do ldmc check all clubs to see if their pitches are lined without permission....? what a shower of tools....

Do you really think that all the members of the LDMC are tools? All clubs know the rules regarding friendlies (not LDMC rules by the way these are FAI driven) The Sand Pit as you call it is not having all your money poured into it, but does require maintenance to ensure that games are playable when required, and the answer to your question is, No the LDMC do not check all clubs to see if their pitches are lined.
Good to see the positive approach to limerick soccer is kicking off early,

No I dont think that all members of ldmc are tools , only the select few.
As a member of a limerick football club it is my club's and all the other clubs money that has been poured into the sand pit (how much money has been spent on it it 15 years?). yes it is a sand pit , saw it the night the forms were released , wouldn't play beach volleyball on it, the odd bit of grass and the rest like burnt toast. Know rules concerning friendlies dont need them shoved down throat by idiots(not yourself may i add, keep up the good work). I am only reflecting how some clubs feel, when being patronised by the select few... How did the discussion between the chairman and the treasuerer continue about season fee's , 270 euro + 30 for a free ball (pikes & treasure position) 300 euro per team including sponsored ball(chairman and councils position) was embarassing to watch this crap live...

Well I can agree that the pitch is not looking great but that is not to say that it won't be back to normal in a few weeks, we can do what most clubs cannot as we do not have the constraints on us of having the season kick in early for the pitch.
Pike are incorrect the fees were set 300 at a committee meeting (as per rule) these were posted on the website and the local papers, In an effort to assist clubs from the start this year the committee (the entire committee) agreed to issue a free ball to clubs, the list price of the ball is €55 so I dont really know how the issue became clouded. It was embarrassing, but change rattles feathers. By the way nobody should feel patronised anymore, if there are any clubs who feel hard done by or want to say anything just drop a line and it will be dealt with.

By all means critisise the LDMC but leave out the reference above.Bear in mind that there are probably members that post on here (at least one) and I don't think that he/they should have to see themselves called that.

12th man.... apologies if i offended any of the ldmc, but try and deal with some of them and you will come to a very similar conclusion. Old keeper... my club have brought issues in the last 9 months to ldmc's notice concerning the behaviour of some of the ldmc towards my club , i await with excitement to hear from ldmc about the outcome of the said concerns.......once again i do not include yourself nad the majority, in my ref's to the t**ls

Ya I heard he was signing with Balla but I hadnt realised he had already signed with Saints. Balla will have a strong midfield if he does join.

Can he get a transfer soon or must he wait a few weeks into the season before he can get one?
