I thinl Pats, $hel$ & Rovers have games the next day so they'll probably pull out.

Notice how they basically took 3 players from all the big Premier teams. Maybe its fairer to do it that way for an u-21 friendly....?

Final squad not a patch on the original one because of game this sunday & monday.

It looks like the FAI have finally got off their backsides and updated their website properly!

It's a pity there are so many withdrawals ( stupid time to have the game ) but at least the other lads will get a chance. Its at least better than having a senior selection playing in a semi-professional tournament like they had a few months ago.

On a related note, the FAI website says that there is only one county that is not represented in the eircom league now that Mayo and Kerry selections will be playing in the U21 league. This sounds a bit suspect to me! What about Leitrim, Roscommon, Wexford, Tipperary etc etc.
