According to a fella on the Sligo Rovers forum,ye have loaned Jason McCarthney from Sligo until the end of the season.
He is a left midfielder,likes to get the ball to feet,get to the end line and get it into the box.
He is 19,is fast and can cross the ball.
He came off the bench for us a few times this season but with thte arrivals of Harpal Singh and Brian Cash he wont get a look in now.

Great - he sounds good. We can always use decent players. He should get a fair crack because Waters is not performing in that position IMO. Though we also have the young lad Sinnott from Reading who doesn't seem to be getting on well.

Not so sure if he will get a good crack at it. NOC doesnt seem confident enough to use young players. Maybe the fact he has some experience will stand for him.

I agree with you about Waters though. He isnt performing to his best there.

He's hasn't got much height tbh, but he does have a lot of pace! He'll still be training with us while playing for ye.

I suppose they will need to have a look at him in u-21 matches first.

Sub appearence. He came on for our goalkeeper after he was injured!! :eek:

Tommy Legend went in goals for the last half hour and McCarthney went wide on the left. Did really well tonight made a nuisance of himself and tok the goal superbly. Can we have another one please?? :p :ball:

Jay will be returing to us soon after a dispute with a certain Limerick person so I hear;)
