QUALIFICATIONS

1. CHARACTER:
Each candidate shall be of good character.

OK, to avoid getting sued by certain people in the FAI's past and present administrations I'll pass no comment on this one - you can all fill in the blanks yourselves.;)



2. HEALTH:
Candidates shall be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

Unfortunately this would seem to rule out Uncle Sir Bobby.


3. PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Essential:

Marketing Qualification
3 Years Relevant experience;
Track record in team management, especially managing remote workers would be useful.
A good understanding of the structure of the game in Ireland in particular the eircom League
Innovative and strategic thinker, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Proven capability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills
Competence in IT systems
Full Driving Licence

I think this means that the FAI view this role as more important than the international team manager *COUGH*

To be fair to Stan, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on his strategic thinking, time management and IT skills. Although, as a former professional footballer, he may not still have his full driving license...:p
