Alfio Basile will start his second spell in charge of the Argentinian national team on September 15 after an agreement was reached with his club side Boca Juniors.
The AFA were eager for Basile to take up the role as soon as possible but Boca wanted to keep him until after the second leg of the South American Recopa.
Boca have got their wish and Basile, who managed the national team at the 1994 World Cup, will switch jobs midway through September, a day after the second leg clash against Brazil's Sao Paulo.
