so our defence is the second best in the division and wes and billy will be a wall for the rest of the season it seems, our strikers are quality but they are nothing without a good midfield.so what do ye think our midfield should be????????theres a few qs to answer i think,
like when raf comes back does that mean cooke will be dropped???
who is there to replace derek on the left??
what should our centre midfield pairing be???
yes i know tony is the man whos opinion counts the most(i say that now before "tir oilean" will probably point it out to rebuke me again, lighten up btw) but no harm in getting a debate going here between fans.i know he will probably rotate according to who we are playing,ie;on friday it will probably be fran and ciaran again to keep snapping away in the centre of the park but my overall first choice midfield would be raf, fran, mixie,o reilly.if you couldnt disagree more then please say who yours would be.

Foley was excellent against Limerick but was this because he was playing against his former club or because Cousins is getting more out of him?
Tolka Park is not the place to experiment.

It won't be long before O'Donnell replaces O'Brien on the wing!!!

as someone said before somewhere else, fran and foley are similiar players. I don't know if it would work, but what I would like to see is, if Cooke could play on the left with Raf on the right, Foley as the defensive midfielder and Russell as the attacking midfielder in an obvious diamond midfield quartet.
