On TV now (Ch5 in UK).
Any update on his ''status''? I think it was Tets who said recently England has selected him for their U19s, though he'd previously been in Ireland squads.

Wenger started and brought on quite a few youngsters in the first half who had never played with Bergkamp. Dennis had quite alot of input with the arsenal youth set-up. And they would have trained together couple of times a week.
Also this will give them a feel of what its like to play at the new ground infront of a full house.
So not that 'retarded' in my view!

Put it on after catching the last 20 minutes and analysis of Newcastle's Inter Toto game. Duffer could surely do better. Every so often need to remind myself why I hate testimonials. The stadium looks impressive. I didn't notice MC but had the sound down for most of the first half.

Jeesh, stop trying to analyse it. Its a pre season friendly and he doesn't want his real players injured. No more/less

To me, the testimonial first half was Arsenal's future, and the second half was Arsenal's half. Still good to see the Irish lads get a run

How did Stokes do? I seen him for a couple of minutes and he looked lively but missed the rest of the game.

I checked out these two guys on the Arsenal Website, they were both born in London, so despite the names not sure if they are Irish, they are both 19 but looking at the picture of O'Cearuill you would swear he was 30!

bwagner, please learn to use the "search" function and you'll find previous posts on both these players. If you'd have bothered to read the reply I posted when you last asked about O'Cearuill you wouldn't need to ask again.

And please don't start a fresh thread to pose the same question twice (Connolly). Threads merged.

You had a civil reply from me the first time in which was contained information about O'Cearuill. You never bothered to read it and then posited the same question again in a different thread. I might as well have not bothered trying to help you, and that's before you insulted me. Not clever, that.
On your second point, if you don't like the rules, exercise your rights and rescind your membership. I for one wouldn't miss you.

Cut it out lads.
bwagner, with respect, yours was the last post on the Mathew Connolly thread which only started on Saturday & which evolved to discuss O'Cearuill, and then on Tuesday (?) you started another Matthew Connolly thread!
The mods were correct, in my opinion, to point this out, no? It's not as if you're only a sporadic visitor & didn't know there was already such a thread.
