Yes while other matters make the headlines there was an actual match well done Longford.

First half was dire. And pats could easily have been 2-0 up. For all our reliance on the 4-6-0 we couldnt pass the ball 10 yards. After the 30 min mark longofrd started passing the ball along the ground and reaped the rewards! In the second half longford imo were by better the team. Could have been 3-0 had it been for better finishing. Dessie had a great game and has really pulled the proverbial socks up this season and is playing a stormer.

Can't argue with any of that. We started off so well... Second half was truely awful from us. Disgraceful actually and i don't use that word lightly

A it like Cork and Derry games we were awful for 20 minutes and lucky not to behind. Once 20 mins had gone and we hadn't conceded players got into it and grew in confidence. Good win.

Need to keep winning those games in hand (is it Waterford next?)
mid table obscurity (security) is well within your grasp.
