with only 50 fans it wasnt going to be long!

they got into the 1st division way to easy the first time - things could have been different it they had a few more years to develope out of the league

never saw them fitting into the new league structure anyway

Patrick Dunne or Tom Timothy would be able to put a figur on how many were sold but id guess over 400

that was a really good idea to sell off those jerseys - i dont wear jerseys that often - but when i wear it it amazes me all the eircom league chats etc. it generates especially here in dublin - gets the GUFC out there

It would be nice if Terryland could one day become like Turner's Cross, where a huge number of the fans (in eL terms) wear the same colour.

There were 700 jersies in stock since at end of January. All are now gone.

The 2005 jersey was one of the largest selling in the clubs history. Large amounts were also sold at the GUST stands pre-Christmas, not to
mention at the club shop at 2005 home games.

Well done to Tom Timothy and the MRU volunteers.

Considering our status as a club that's been in Division 1 for as long as we have Pa, and the fact that we've achieved next to nothing of note in all this time, that's saying something. Imagine if we were in Drogheda's position. And it wasn't even an especially nice jersey.

Imagine if jersies were properly distributed to retail outlets around the city and county ?

Imagine if we had an on-line shop ?

good point p dunne - even if the sales werent that high - it would be raising awarness

every shop in town sells all 3 connaught jerseys for instance - yet you dont see so many on the streets for instance

and as the figures above show - the jersey does sell well in this case

Jersey Day
sounds good, bit is it a little short notice since the posters have been printed n everything. maybe if it was put off til the next home game posters n the like could be geared towards a jersey day.

You right, when I was back there in April, none could be found in any shop in Galway. Plenty of GAA though.

No problem for me though since mine was specially delivered :D
