Excellent result, as I said earlier Devine made some really good saves. MOM of the match for **** imo. I wasnt suprised by the reaction of the App' team at the end, pity we couldnt see more !!

great that the cork players pulled together and got the goal. that temperature is so hot and they did well... George should have been there but he sounds like a looser. I cant really see how Cork are going to beat Belgrade over the two legs though. Still well done village people:)

Poor enough match but City hung in well.
Fenn and Bennett did very well.
Would have been gutted to not get through one round.
Red Star should be very tough but i think we could get a good result if we've a full squad especially Flynny.

Very bad news. Apparently(from Uefa website) Danny Murphy anfd Joe Gamble were sent off after the final whistle when the 'fight' broke out.

Hoping to god its a mistake.

The lads certainly didnt know they had been sent off and neither did Rico-all were in high spirits after the game.

I was there and from what i sawe and heard Danny kissd the crest at the final whistle-2 Apollon officials that shouldnt have been near the pitch ran at him and the City lads ran in. Rest of Appolon team jumped on. Was a disgrace.

Sore losers both players and fans. Fans throwing bottles adn coins at players and Rico any time they came into view. FAI official Andy Needham apparently hit with a bottle and now it looks like we have 2 of our best players out of the Red Star game.

Something always has to ruin incredible nights.

Sorry for the rant but im really p*ssed off now.
