Next on my agenda is tactics.
Could anybody from any of the the 12 eircom prem teams tell me how their team operates given the following choices:
1.Home Formation (any formation you see fit, 3-5-2, 4-3-3 4-4-2 etc)
2.Away Formation (any formation you see fit)
3.Home Tactics- whatever you can give me from the following:
-Defence- Deep or Pressing
-Passing- Longball or Short ball
-Attacking- Direct or Patient
-Distribution Central or Wide
4.Away Tactics
Same as Home tactics
e.g. Sligo (just ex) 1. 4-4-2
2. 3-5-2-5-1-4 lol
3.(D) Deep (P) Long (A)Direct (D)Wide
4. ditto
Anything would be great. Youve all been ace so far, i have to do the same thing with the Danish SAS Ligaen and they are a bit rubbish compared!
Thanks

I would say that we are short and patient at home.
Not true. We're forever lumping it up to Sammon who can't head and McWalter who has to pick it up near the corner flag. Didn't you see on Sunday?

Is this for Football Manager or something?!

It's either for a football manager game or else it's the greatest wind-up of all time.

I's say its a wind-up!

Oh and I know you aren't looking for info on the tactics of First Division teams - coz that doesn't really exist right? Well, anyway, Kildare County don't do tactics. Hope that makes yar job easier.

lol it isnt a wind-up, and i am taking on all infomation recieved and it is very helpful! its not football manager, its for the next edition of LMA Manager, and we are only doing the top divisions of what the department deems 'less dominating' footballing countires- in domestic league terms; i appreciate the national side is pretty decent!!

Indeed! By pass midfield at all costs it saves time.
4-5-1 seems to be the main formation as of late.

Well with Dublin City gone, could you throw Kildare County in, for the laugh! I'd pay ya...

Bohs Tactics under farrelly.... go out on the pitch and Lose !!
Philly
20/07/2006, 9:52 AM
Oh and for Bohs matches in the game, make sure the fans are always complaining and booing and putting the manager under pressure no matter what resources he has at his disposal - just to make it realistic like...

St Pats
1.Home Formation 4-4-2

3.Home Tactics-
-Defence- Pressing
-Passing- Short ball
-Attacking- Patient
-Distribution - Both
4.Away Tactics

Way too narrow definitions but thats about it with us. If there's a feature that causes a manager to make bad decisions re substitutions and tactics when losing then make sure John McDonnell's is set quite high.

you should put Shamrock Rovers in. wel be in the premier next season, regardless of whether we win the first division or not.
simlpy consider Rovers as a replacement of dublin city, who dont exist anymore
home 442
away 442
home: defence pressing
passing short
attacking patient
distribution wide
away: defence pressing
passing short
atacking patient
distribution wide
