21s 1st win

The limerick under 21s had their first win of the season against a strong Kerry side in Rathbane with temps hitting into the mid 30's. Roasting hot day and players did well to keep upright. Goal was a cracker scored by Liam Costello after excellent work by MOTM shane Guiren and John Tierney. I didnt expect our very young side to be able to compete with a far more experinced Kerry side but they did and have some fine players in Tierney, Miller and Colbert.

Team: Healy, Conway Danagher, Colbert, Prout, Costello, Burke, Miller, O'Boyle, Guiren and Tierney. not sure of the subs so ill shut up now

I was at the game, very good win against a more physical team than ours, well done u-21's, best kerry player on the day was steve conway(limerick) :) i hope to see a few of the fringe players get a run 2m nite like costello, burke, conway and healy who made a few fine saves! wat do ye tink?
