Yes they are as we have been informed by their fans :D Theyre very touchy about it

apparently the other name is just the Serbian translation of Red star and has always been their name......but then Irish media dont bother with research

But your a professional Club no other league does it for their clubs if you dont have the squad to Play in the champions league it is not out fault and we should pay a penalty.

Are you absolutely certain no other league lets games be postponed when they have a game the following wednesday?? Or are you just basing it on the premiership?

Ye're hardly paying a penalty, if yer good enough yel beat us when the game is played. You just want the advantage of playing us when we are jet lagged and have a big game the next week.

Derry and Drogs have their game postponed despite the fact that they only play Uefa games every second week not every week as we have to.

Your club were nice enough to agree to the postponement as they know this is important for the league. Ive always seen Sligo as a progressive club and fully expect ye to be challenging for Eurpean places soon enough. Ye will be glad of the postponment ten if it helps the co-efficient so that ye are seeded.

Were obviously not going to agree on this so lets leave it at that. I understand why you would be annoyed but id hope that other EL clubs will be willing to do the same for ye in the future

Were obviously not going to agree on this so lets leave it at that.In fairness, the FAI probably wanted the game postponed. If Rovers refused then that would look bad come the end of the season when teams are been picked for "the Premiership" so we probably had to agree.

TO be honest I dont mind the game being postponed. If it give Cork even a 1% better chance of moving forward in Europe (as well as pushin the EL coefficient (sp?) up) then I am all in favour.

Good luck Cork City!!
