Dublin City F.C. is an Irish football club playing in the Football League of Ireland. Until 2001 it was known as Home Farm Everton, as English club Everton had a stake in the club, and before that as Home Farm (although they split from the junior soccer club of the same name in the 1970's). The club is based in Dublin and play their home matches at Dalymount Park. Club colours are Sky Blue and Navy, and the club goes by the nicknames The Vikings and The Dubs. The current manager is Dermot Keely.
A club with less than a hundred supporters, no stadium and in a city well served with five senior clubs already coupled with huge deficits is on its last legs. Their chairman said when they first entered the league that they would be in the Champions League in five years!
