Apparently 700 at the Showgrounds.
Of that, a random head count shows roughly 695-700 Sligo fans in attendance. :)

dont know where ye get these numbers from but there was a lot more than 700 in the showgrounds last night.
id say about 1100.one thing is for sure though,if we dont get a big crowd for the next home gaem it will be back to Saturdays.
It was a bit strange after the match, felt like a Saturday, tonight will feel empty with no trip to the showgies.

Just something about the games on tonight.
I am about to head of to Kilkenny with about 30 others for tonights match for what will be possibly the smallest crowd I have ever witnessed at a match involving Athlone Town. Maybe even smaller than the 80 at the Dublin City vs Athlone Town match last season.
The questions I have is who decides what time the match kicks off at and why put it on at the same time as the WC 3rd/4th place play off. Surely at a time when we are trying to attract people to matches this must be the biggest joke ever.
Whats the odds on a crowd of less than 100.

Heard the 2nd was a cracker, great player Behan. Why doesn't Rico ever try O'Flynn and him together?
That's some win for Harps against the form team in the first division- especially as our only fit keeper was sent off after 20 minutes so a centre-half had to go in goal.
The Harps fightback starts here.........

Don't think Behan's a great player at all, and I know a lot of the Cork fans would think the same. He scores a few crackers alright, but disappears in matches far too much as well. Cork have better options than him when everyone's available, I think.

Disagree with that completely. An excellent player, better than Fenn and would walk into any other team in the league!¬

I disagree. There are the same idiots who say he's not good enough but everytime he starts he performs, top scorer in the setanta cup, works his ass off and goals to starts ratio is incredible........anyone who slates him mustnt have been there that night against Derry

Saying that i wouldnt start him ahead of Fenn. Fenn has been one of our if not our best player this season. His link up play has been incredible, him and flynny compliment each other perfectly and he's been scoring more goals. Its harsh on Denis but its good to see that we have that kind of player on the bench who can perform when we need them.
He'l get his chance wednesday anyway
