I've seen on the transfer section of Sporting Life and Football365 that Jol has put in a bid for Downing. I hope this means he plans on playing Andy Reid in a more central role this season but I doubth it.

I don't think Andy Reid has much of a future at Spurs anyway.

Spurs have also bought Zokora from the Ivory coast to play in central midfield. They also have Davids, Carrick, Tannio, Jennas for that position. Reid has been a huge disappointment at Spurs. He weight is outrageous for a professional footballer. Its common knowledge that he is out and about on the town way too often.

Until I see the proof for either side of this I don't believe either of you. :p

please please somebody close this thread, its getting so tiresome reading about andy reids weight on here, hes fine, just had a bad time with injuries and has not managed to hit top form. Yes it would not be a shock if he were to leave, but he still has a very good future at the top level of professional football.
