Good stuff :)
I'd say there will be a good crowd in Cyprus if the Irish holiday makers go to the game

Well its costing me 599 on the 3 day charter. Thats flights, accomodation in four star hotel(and breakfast i think), tranfers to match(hotel in Limossol) and match ticket.
i've a week in Ayia Napa for 450! sorted!

Good to see a relatively unglamorous European game covered in the first round.
If the real city get a decent result in Sweden, they should show our home game with Gothenburg as well. We've got the toughest/best quality opponent of all the Irish teams this year, so I'd expect they'd be of more interest to neutrals than an unheard of Cypriot team.

I think you're wrong there....the interest would probably be higher since they are known but i would think the Cypriots would be a stronger team

Well this is only a one off, they won't make the 3rd round  so that leaves Desperate Housewives for the following Wednesdays :p :ball:

Best chance of seeing the game will probably be on BBC NI.
Looking forward to it, good luck to the Village. :)
How did the game come across on tv. I thought was cagey european game & maybe not the best for the neutral observer...

Wasn't a bad match. Appollon looked to be able to put it about a bit in the first half, while Cork hoofed and seemed nervous. Unbelievable level of stray passes. City were much, much better in the second half, and the goal and build-up looked great. I'd say the performance was worth 2-0.
Then you inexplicably went into suicide mode for the last bit. I was convinced that you were going to concede, but you probably might as well have, because you gave them hope.

That disappointed me too. We sat on our 1-0 lead in the last 15 and it almost cost us. A second goal could have made all the difference. It might be very difficult to score over there with the heat. An away goal over there is crucial to give us some breathing space.
