Sinnott moved to the Madejski Stadium after a successful trial period at the end of last year but has yet to make his first-team bow.

Royals boss Steve Coppell has decided to allow the Irish youth international to return to his homeland to get some football under his belt.

A number of clubs were keen to sign the former Bray Wanderers starlet but league-leaders Limerick won the race for his signature.

The 20-year-old is primed to make his first appearance for his new club against Shamrock Rovers in the League Cup quarter final on Tuesday

Wexford native who was with us for a very short time before heading over to reading. Seriously could'nt see how they spotted talent in him, 2 sub apperences for the st team and was very poor and a handful of games for our 21's. he looked very average at best. But things have gone realy well for him over in England and looks like one for the future. All the best to him and hopefully can make the grade

I think Reading already have a grand feeder club in Munster. :)

I know with other goings on this is not a priority down Limerick way but what's the overall verdict on Sinnott? I know he struggeld to get a game for a while but seemed to play regularly at end of season, albeit in various positions. Any opinions?

I wish I had his millions... and possibly his hair! Played with Conor (although he's nearly 3years younger than me) and a lot of former team mates have played for Wallace so just interested in general! I'd say good chance Conor be linking up with Wexford Youths FC aswell, so be interested in a bit more info on how he performed at this level.

I hope he is in Limerick next year, playing EL soccer. Sounds as if you know he is already gone! New consortium needs to happen ASAP or we won't have any players left!

Technically he was never a Limerick player. On loan from Reading, although he was with them on a non-contract basis, they were paying his wages. From what I've heard he's likely to go back over there this month for a further trial. If he's not offered a contract there and Wexford are accepted into the league, I think that's his most likely destination.

Had to ask:D :o

Wallace has pretty grovey hair alright , I wonder what shampoo he uses. He'll be doing the Head and shoulder adds in a couple of years if Wexford turns into a huge sucess.

So what is the story regarding the Limerick players. If the club isn't in the league next season (I hope you are) are they free to join any club that comes in for them or can they move clubs for free already?.

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere already.

Thats interesting, so far the only confirmed transfers on the Kildare County website have been the 2 lads from Kilkenny City, Paul Donnley and Sean L'Estrange.

Conor Sinnot was out at the trials for Wexford Youths FC on Saturday, but didn't take part. I reckon he's a cert to be in the squad if and when it's accepted by the FAI. He played for Mick on the Wexford Youths side that won the FAI Interleague 2 years ago. His brother (or maybe cousin...but I'm nearly sure it's his brother), Shane, took part in the trials aswell.

O'Neill to Kildare could be the First Division signing of the season come years end in my opinion, great keeper and top bloke as well

Austin O'Neill is a great signing for Kildare. Conor Sinnott didn't overly impress me tbh. He pulled the occasional trick out of the bag but looked off the pace a lot of the time and fairly disinterested too, especially early in his stay. He seemed to knuckle down as the season wore on but I wouldn't have been in any real rush to keep him even if things were going normally in Limerick.
