We must win as we are 4th in league now:
7 points behind limerick (and they have a game in hand)

3 points bhhind Shamrock rovers (game in hand too)

3 points behind Cobh

at this stage we cant afford to loose anymore ground

any chance of Barry being fit for friday

We must also defeat Cobh in the Tuesday fixture they have won five on the bounce and are becoming a threat to our race (to the title). On the other hand according to Cobh's list Limerick were crap....are the wheels about to fall off the Treaty Towns title race (great alliteration!) Now there are 4/5 teams in the race its goin to be even more difficult to take the title. A big improvement is required. Rumours of this new signing are good news lets hope it becomes a reality.:)

still would have preffered cobh beating limerick than limerick going further ahead - we need to go on a winning streak dont mind a couple of matches

Dont get me wrong Corbyeire it was the best result we could have got and as for a winning streak when was our last one? There are a few teams (Cobh and Dundalk) that have strung 4 wins together to climb the ladder. We seem to lack that ability.

draw merchants - limerick 0 draws - galway 8

enough said there

if we had taken a few of those by the scruff of the neck and pushed forward we could have won 4 anyway - maybe lost 4 aswell - but that would still be 8 more points

It's that mad aul' commandment that applies to football teams:

Thou shall not win any matches either side of playing against Rovers.

Tbh, you're not alone. Monaghan took a point off us in April, then promptly lost 8 straight matches.

Finn Harps took 8 points off us from 9 available last year. And how bad were they?

Many teams suffer from "Rovers Flu". You're the latest ones. :D

well the good news is we played a match (against dundalk) and actually didnt pick up any more injuries. Also Keady is fit again and available for the match. see more at www.galwayunitedfc.ie

lads limerick are ****e,its a fluke there top of the league.theve a team of dirty players and when the score they put eleven men behind the ball.

if ye play any sort of football yell walk all over them!

we played ye once this season, should of beat ye! but ye were a far better team tham limerick!
