1-0 Rovers McTiernan after 7 Minute

McCourt has serious injury!

Joke goal from what i hear, Forde was a disgrace at not even making an attempt, Derry down to 10 men now, McGlynn sent off for a 50-50 tackle.

no crowd trouble, some steward was seen giving derry fans some grief after they had scored, which was reported here http://www.derrycityfc.net/liveupdate.php?matchid=20

Some incidents with the Sligo stewards after we equalised - apparently they started gesturing at the City support, almost causing a bit of aggro. Very professional!!!

A poor defeat by al accounts and forde is on his last chance if wot i heard happened tonite is true. (Didnt make an effort to save shot). Still a big portion of season left but this defeat cud be costly:confused:

It was a brilliant strike from McT,I didnt have agreat view of it but Forde couldnt do much about it.
He could have saved Foys freekick though,he side stepped the wrong way and foy smacked it into the corner where he was before he had moved.

Iggy pop is stewarding up there too!!Who's that?.

Didn't see any crowd trouble tonight, I know one Derry fan cut his head when Derry scored, but it was his own fault, Davey was nowhere near the incident;) :p. Derry City fans are the best in the league!

The Stars: From where we were it looked nothing special, but Forde was beaten very easily at his near post, putting his hands up, but not moving towards the ball

No crowd trouble, just yer stewards need to learn to deal with large crowd.

It is a complete joke having supposed segregation if there are home fans all over the away section.

Undoubtedly, but your stewarding was like watching dogs try to stop cars.

You know they really want to try and stop it, no doubt they try their best, just they haven't a f**king clue what to do to achieve it.

Well done to sligo. Great result. Was it a case of sligo playing very well or Derry not turning up? Hope McCourts injury isn't serious though wont be complaining if he misses a few games :)

FFS - it's like chinese whispers in here sometimes !!

Nobody said anything about feckin crowd trouble - just that there was an issue with Rover's stewards/a steward. Next thing there's a load of speculative responses on here about crowd trouble. Bunch of old wimmin....

Well played Sligo

Nothing happened, because in general Derry fans don't cause hassle.

Excessive force from the stewards after Derry scored the equaliser.

The segregation was complete joke, there were teenagers supporting Sligo at the back of the away support looking for niggle the entire night.

I personally asked for a steward to remove a group of them after they started throwing things into the Derry support, the steward just laughed and walked away.

The Harps fans gave off about the stewarding in Sligo before and I can see why.

Combination

O'Grady and the front pair of McTernan and Mansaram were very good for Sligo.

Derry were dominant for long periods of the game, but no cutting edge. Looked like McCourt had torn a harmstring.

Foy, although looking like a pub player, scored a great free and them roasted our defence to set up the third.

Oh Somebody had a bad night ! :D :p

Far from it - I took great joy in seeing Switzerland's campaign to destroy the game of football come to a crashing halt in penalties....

I just can't hack people over-reacting for zero reason, like a bunch of aul women or bored tabloid journalists - regardless of the quality of my night..... :D

It was a Candystriped revolution, put down but a few officials in orange jackets

Many were lost, but the propaganda war will rage on.......:D

Can someone split the OT posts and stick them into the Sligo section
