This season should be interesting as playing at the cross on friday evenings as pale based teams have to make the long journey to Cork on busy friday morning./afternoons.

I think ridays be worth a few extra points against the other part-time team anyway. I'm convinced Bray chnaged their home matches to fridays for non-pale teams.

If I remember correctly Cork were close to/or top of the home league, in spite of finishing in the bottom half overall, the year you played on Fridays in Bishops town, though obviosly the crowds were dire and the last few matches were played at the Cross on a Sunday. Teams (even the part-time ones) are better prepared now though.

Not sure if RTE are continuing their highlights programme like that of last season, but if they are, City could still play a few matches on a Sunday.

As part pf the Fai deal with Sky Sports and TV3, TV3 will now be covering the LOI. They have to show at least 5 matches live. With TV3 is probably the most they will show as well.

Weekly thing but also highlights to be shown on Sports tonight. With the coverage and dedication RTE gave to the eircom League things can only get better. At least Trevor Welsh goes to games.
