Well, he's finally gone and dropped Geordan Murphy, and brought back the in-form player, Dempsey in the only change. Staunton comes on to the bench, replacing Hickie.

I really feel that we could do this. Their tight 5 aren't going to give us the same problems, particlarly in the scrums, that New Zealand did, and this will give us much better attacking platforms. Australia are also a far less disciplined side than New Zealand, so I can see us getting a lot more possession.

Australia 18-25 Ireland

Aussies to win. Margin is a tough guess. Part of me says insanely tight, another says we could implode and it could be a heavy defeat (and that's entirely from my gut, no imperical evidence to back it up).

I normally go with my gut but for the time being (I might change my mind before the game) I'll stick with a narrow defeat.

This Ireland team always have a few tries in them so I've no doubt we'll score one or 2. It will be tight and might come down to who kicks their penalties. I'll go for Australia 18 - 21 Ireland

If we had played them 2 weeks ago instead of now i think we would have won but now i think maybe they might sneak it

Ireland to loose by 4 or less...
Should have played them prior to the All Blacks.
The Aussie's confidence is high after England got stuffed this w-e...

PP have Ireland +9 handicap.

I think Ireland will lose inside the margin.

Indeed far too optimistic given Ireland lost by 22 points.

What is it with the 60 minute mark? We just crumbled in the last three games around this time.

Lack of quality on the bench, an a lack of imagination with O'Sullivan to use what quality is there.

Ireland have decent first 15 but lets face it hard to beat top sides without a half decent bench.

Its unrealistic to think Ireland could have large pool of quality players but i the least O'Sullivan has to aim for is quality 22 players when everyone fit. Obviously with few key injuries Ireland will be screwed.

O'Sullivan has 1 year to improve the bench.
