According to the Mirror Leeds want to sign him on loan. Bad news - going the wrong way. Needs to fight for his place in the Premiership. I thought this guy was the business when I saw him playing for Forest.

Sigh.

Only for a loan. Might not be a bad thing for him to get regular play under his belt. He's still young.

Good move, he needs to lose weight and he'll be playing with Liam Miller.

Andy Reid is a disgrace to the modern day professional footballer... Fat and overpaid,,his only equal in abuse of physical state is Ronaldo..

So it's now what, 4 years that people have been saying Reid is overweight? Do you not think he'd have got it sorted by now if he was?

I watched some programme on Sky One about Wayne Rooney and they do tests on every player to measure their body fat. I think the average player should be around 12%. If they're not at that figure they certainly wouldn't get away with it for 4 years. Andy Reid is not fat, end of story (I wish it was).

We've everything at Leeds Andy could want ...yorkshire pudding, pork scratchings, pies that would make your nose melt, ales that are so high in calories that they explode when yo smoke near them ... he'll be very happy with us.

I hope it's true but I doubt it very much.

By the way I'm kidding about Cartman being a fat lad ...he's handsomely plump. ;)

dont be daft, he's always looked the same, its his build. they would have him fined wages and public comments if he was fat.

andy reid is far from overweight. You will find he is actually one of the fittest players at spurs and the same at forest. Quality player who has been unlucky with injuries a long move to leeds would do him the world of good .. though hopefully when quinn takes over at sunderland we can get him instead !

I might ring Stan. " Howya Stan, I'm two stone overweight, give us a game."

40,000 fans should have got a refund when that fat cant came on against Chile. Absolute disgrace, he couldnt run.

Time for eirebhoy to post that photograph again I think. If he was overweight Jol wouldn't pick him - period. When he's not injured he's always at least on the bench.

Those of us who remember him from his undeage days will remember him as a lightweight will plenty of skill. In fact I honestly thought he'd struggle to make it because of his size. I think he's simply bulked up too much to compensate. It's simpoly unfeasible with modern training & current emphasis on nutrition / dieat that Spurs would continue to employ him if he was genuinely overweight. His match fitness is another thing altogether.

He used to be a lot heavier than he is now. It's true.

I think he's been a victim of Spurs' success. When he signed for them they looked to be heading to be an average midtable side - where he could command a place most weeks.

Now they're nearly Champions league material, I think they've passed him by. And what with the injuries as well.

He needs a mid table premiership club where he can develop his game.
The step up to Spurs was a bit to much for him.

Yeah, I'd like to see him go somewhere like Wigan, even on loan so he could develop his game and get 1st team football.
