I don't know if that "newscaster" fits in with the standard Fox viewer. Fox seem to like that kind of argumentative interviewer...

What a pity they aren't as tough on their politicians. If she did that to a senator, there'd be hell to pay.

The guest is clearly insane and offensive - but that was just pure unprofessional from the interviewer.

For most of the 5mins you couldn't hear what either were saying, as they talked all over each other and traded insults. Regardless of how nutty the interviewee was, that just didn't look good for either of them.

It doesn't matter if you find a guest offensive or not - if you're not going to let them speak, then why bother having them at all ? The offensiveness of what the interviewee said was to a large extent goaded from her - and as her views were predictable, why give her the air-time at all ? This was just Fox looking to bash the church involved, rather than than any genuine attempt to 'report' the news. No great surprise to see Fox more interested in pushing their own views rather than objectively reporting events.....

DCFCSteve is completely correct. It's not the only footage you'll find of Fox staff arguing with nutballs on the news either. Here's a couple more:

Fox news is not interested in anything but argument for arguments sake. Facts, professionalism, and manners all take a backseat to people screaming at each other. And missing blonde teen girl trumps all else.

Just back from two weeks in Canada - was watching the Fox News round-up of the World Cup action there one day. "Next up was the match-up of Spain and the Ukraine - Go Yukes!!!" "Spain took the lead when its forward onion-bagged a foul ball." Four of us watching were in tears laughing!

Watched the USA v Italy game in an Irish bar in Prague, with a load of Yanks in the place.

It's cringeworthy listening to those feckers watch football. They just haven't grasped the different terminology versus their own sports. One goon kept shouting "De-fence, De-fence" : since when did football fans celebrate their team's defensiveness....?

There was a table-load of them next to us, and some of the stuff they were coming out with was just comedy gold. I could swear they were training for the next Budweiser ad. Truly painful......

You're preaching to the choir there dcfcsteve.......Now you know how some of us feel living over here in the US.
ESPN does have one good commentator though, Dave O'Brien, (not Irish) who also does Hockey games. There is an Irish fella by the name of Tommy Smith, who works for ESPN and he is like hearing chalk going across a blackboard! Does the 'puh de 'oul ball in de h'onion bag' routine. Brutal.
