Hope Adam doesn't mind me posting this as it is football related and more importantly for charity:
On the evening of Monday 19th June, Free Tibet Campaign is thrilled to
invite you to the first UK screening of the acclaimed film, 'The Forbidden
Team', at the prestigious ICA in the Mall, London. The event starts at
6.30pm and lasts until midnight. Tickets for this special event are just
£12, which includes free entry to a post-screening party in the ICA bar,
with live traditional Tibetan music followed by Tibetan and contemporary
music. All proceeds from the event go to Free Tibet Campaign.
'The Forbidden Team' is a humorous documentary which follows Tibet's
national football team, composed of exiled Tibetans, from their first
coaching sessions in Dharamsala, India - on a craggy, grassless pitch - to
the last whistle in Copenhagen two years later.
We are delighted The Forbidden Team's director has come to the UK to
introduce this special screening and will take part in a Q&A session after
the film alongside Free Tibet Campaign spokesperson Matt Whitticase.
Tickets are available from the ICA - Tel: 020 7930 3647 or go to ICA, The
Mall, London SW1Y 5AH. The box office is open daily from 12 midday -
9.30pm. Please order your tickets soon as spaces are limited.
For more details about the film please go to: www.forbiddenteam.com
Many thanks to Freewheelin and Hummel for organising what promises to be a
spectacular event.
