Has anyone got any info on 'Bray Unknows'. It seems my Grandad was a paid player for them at some stage and I'd like to know a bit more about them. I've been told that it was a previous incarnation of Wanderers, but I'm not certain that's correct. Thanks!

Bray Unknowns played in the League of Ireland in 1920's & 1930's. They went into demise before been reformed as Bray Wanderers around 1942/43.

Cheers lads, it would have been 20s - 30s that he played with them.
He often told a story about getting sent off by a referee called Linnet after he called him a "f'in sparrow" following a harshly awarded penalty :)
