ramblers

What a difference a week makes. David breen cost us big time in this game. There is no way 11 against 11 that dundalk would have beaten us. He got a yellow card for mouthing and proceeded to keep mouthing after dundalk got the penalty award and was sent off. He should have known better.
It was a penalty as the ball struck Gareths hand harsh as it was as it was more ball to hand as it took a wicked bounce off the surface. The wind didnt help the situation either. Dundalk were poor as we were but they marshelled Davin well and he should have been taken off sooner then he was.
Bruton had a great chance to get a goal for a draw but fired at the keeper who made a save with his legs.
Warren Cummins was sent off in the dying minutes for a challenge on the goalkeeper. The goal keeper was on the ground with the ball under his chest and as he started to get up he left the ball go warren went to kick it as the goal keeper was not in control of the ball. The ref sent him off it was a disgraceful decision the ball was there to be won.
All in all Ramblers should have been beaten 3-0 but for James McCarthy who made 3 great saves as well as the penalty save. It is sad to see that the ramblers yet again cannot keep there mouths shut and as a consequence we are out of the cup.
