Just read again the issue aobut passports and Northern Ireland. Basically it's a directive from FIFA after the Good Friday Agreement that all Northern Ireland internationals must obtain a Brittish passport. I read before that some of the players are seriously unhappy about this. I do forsee a number of younger players declaring for the republic outright down the line, rather than get a Brittish passport.

But I wonder about current Internationals that refuse to get one. Will there be a window for them to come accross to play for us??? There could be one or two assets there. (McCartney, Hughes and especially Davis off the top of my head).

interesting, but i read a piece with Davis some time back in which he said he grew up and still is a rangers man, so im thinking the british passport wont bother him all that much, fine player though.

can see this getting locked dr_peepee, sadly.
