have ye seen this from next year the team that finishes bottom gets 30 mill minimun the team thats 10th will earn more than they would from winning the champs league and the winners prize money should be doubled about 100 mill !!!!

and this is before they include they money from phone downloads internet etc .


should firmly establish the prem league as the best in the world

its called news :D ,

its from the new EU ruling that sky cant have all the games it has been split up into 6 slices sky have 5 and setanta will get the other .

it means by the end of it all the FA will get about 2 billion to split up between the teams for the next 3 years .


in real terms it means for example Everton got 24.25 mill for finishing 10th and being on sky , next year that will be worth about double almost 50 mill !!! .i think arsenal got 54 for reaching the champ league final so it basically makes the premiership more important finacialy than the champs league .

Why are they paying so much though, it's not as if they have competition with the amounts they bid?? They're all fcuked if BSkyB ever get into financial trouble...no wonder the Old Firm are continually making efforts to get into it.
