That doesn't give the 2-0 win over Bohs or the 1-0 win over Trinity...?

(I pick the results up from Aertel. Though I could quite easily have missed one)

Cheerrs for that - Shels seem to have played a fair few games unnoticed! Probably some sort of Ollie-induced scam.

Can anybody tell me the results of the Enda McGuill Cup 1/4 finals?

I know Kildare are to play Bray tonight but I think UCD were to play Drogheda last night with the winners due to play whoever wins between Kildare & Bray.

Does anybody know the result of that game?

That was a bit of a surprise, was it? I thought UCD were fairly strong

Any idea of what Bray are like?

Kildare are pretty decent but it's hard to tell because they are top of probably the weakest division so I suppose Bray will be big favourites.

We did score within 3 seconds of the restart of the 2nd half on Saturday though, start from kick off!!!

We sent our best striker out on loan to Kilkenny and our best player has moved up to the first team. I'm still surprised that we've lost our last two matches though.

Bray won the cup last year and are leading the Dublin Section of the league. They must be strong.

I heard there was murder after the game last night, ref played no injury time at all when there should have been about 5 or 6 minutes ! absolutely shocking if true.

Oh right, thanks & is that semi final on next week as well? The drogheda v Kildare game is on in Kildare next Tuesday

BTW that under 21 semi final is actually the following tuesday, Sept 12th

The U21s will be playing Cork City in Terryland Park on Tuesday
5th September (K0 8.00pm).

The Enda McGuill League Cup semi final will now be at a different Galway venue on Sunday 10th September. A lot of chopping and changing happening

Kildare won that game at the weekend 3-0.

The scoreline definitely flattered Kildare as they scored twice in the last 10 minutes but they probably deserved the win. The kildare centre forward, Paddy Mahon scored a hat trick.

Galway hit the post just before half time when it was 0-0 so it would have been a different game had that gone in

Sligo Rovers bet Derry City in the Showgrounds today, 2-1 was the final score. Rovers had only 10 men from about 10mins into the match as a player went off injured and we had nobody to replace him:o. Still won though:)

Yeah we took a real beating from an excellent Shels side, fully deserved there win from the way they defended and then broke on the counter attack. At 0-0 Bray were turned down a stone wall peno which would have changed the game.

Kildare County beat Drogheda 5-4 on penalties. The game ended 1-1.
Cork will have home advantage in the final.
