Usually I dont post right away after a game, give the emotions time to settle, but F that tonight. At Last!!

Atmosphere was'nt great and it was'nt a classic but who cares!, job done! A goal and a clean sheet. Fair play to the lads for sticking at it and getting stronger as the half went on and not letting the heads drop, evryone played their part (and when Longford did look dangerous Skippy was on top of evrything, did'nt look like being beaten on that form), and what a rifle from Wes!

I'm too carried away with happiness and relief so I'll leave it at that:ball:

C'mon the Wanderers:) Roll on Sligo:cool:

Delighted with the win, fair play to the team. They really had to dig in deep to get it, well deserved after the horrible start we have had.

A win at last, Wes's goal was a cracker! Eamon was unlucky not to score, some tackle from the Longford lad. Defended well for the most part, midfield were well on top. Thought Robbie was terrible when he came on, lost possession three times by overplaying it- not what you need defending a one goal lead. What's the story with Ryaner's injury? Bring on the Sligo!

Well spotted re Robbie been a bit disappointing since he came back but sure plenty of time for him to get going yet!

Really impressed with the lads attitude last night and performance. Only the second clean sheet of the season and it has to be said when he was called upon Skippy did well, the one on one with Dessie Baker springs to mind.

Have to agree with Seagull, Robbie did look a bit poor when he came on.

But a great win, hopefully that'll get the ball rolling...and a goal thank god. Apparently it was 538 mins without one!!

What a relief! We finally got our first win of the season. Tough game but we really gave it everything. Skippy & Maccer were outstanding last night. Bring on Sligo!
